Making a composition your own
In our last live webinar, we’ll discuss how to find and evolve your own style, the importance of our own ‘confident zone,’ as well as how to create unique and more memorable compositions. We’ll also explore when to break the rules and listen to your ‘inner rebel.’
What if you can’t attend live sessions?
We understand that the time zones and schedules don’t always align. All the workshop live sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the workshop area, and you will have access to them for 7 days after the last workshop (until December 7th, midnight CET).
If you decide to purchase the PLUS ticket, you’ll receive lifetime access to the 3-Day Composition Masterclass recordings and an extra live Q&A session, which will also be recorded. (If you’re unable to attend the Q&A session live, you can, of course, submit your questions ahead of time.)
What our students are saying…
“Thank you Bea for all your lessons!
The amount of knowledge that you share plus your sweet and calm voice left me in a stay of joy and thrilling after the classes yesterday!”
Vir Pavlovic Mac Donald
“I found it very easy to learn from Anja because she explained every step of the shoot in detail. It is easier to learn this way!
The Drink Photography Workshop was great! I loved looking over Anja’s shoulder. I especially enjoyed seeing how Anja edits her pictures. That was a game-changer for me. I’ve even gotten more involved with Photoshop after the workshop and I’m trying to edit my photos even better. I can only recommend Anja’s workshop to anyone who wants to improve their photography. ”
Sarah Thor, food photographer
“Anja did a great job of providing thorough, down-to-earth, and clear information, accompanied by beautiful examples.
I recently took the online photography workshop by Anja, focused on capturing beverages, and I must say it was a very useful experience. Anja’s teaching style made it easy to grasp the concepts. I certainly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their beverage photography.”
Maaike Zaal, food and drink photographer
Meet your hosts!
Anja Burgar
This is me! A shy girl from a small but highly scenic country called Slovenia and an official education in ecology. Nature is my biggest inspiration, and it is pure joy to take all its beauty into my creative work.
In my mid-twenties, I felt utterly lost and didn’t know what my passion was. So, after leaving a dead-end job and feeling like the biggest loser, I took the time and figure out what I wanted in life. This is how my blog Use Your Noodles was born – from sheer love of food and, well… boredom. Little did I know that it was precisely how I’d find my passion.
My love for food, cooking, and photography got me to work for international clients daily and be featured in worldwide magazines. So whenever I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me constantly talking about photography (and you’ll have a hard time stopping me!).
Knowledge is there to be shared, and everyone deserves a chance to be a part of a supportive educational community! This is what I firmly live by.
I’m happy to have you with me so we uplevel your photography together.
Bea Lubas
I grew up in a picturesque little town in the south-west of Poland. At the age of 20, I left a job in a local bakery, packed my suitcase and bought a one-way ticket to England.
Why did I move? I felt lost. I didn’t really know what to do with myself and I hoped that this new adventure would help me find my direction in life. Nothing, as you probably guessed, happened overnight, but one day something nudged me to buy a camera….and that was a turning point.
In recent years I’ve been creating food stories for brands and magazines from all over the world and I still pinch myself that telling visual stories about delicious ingredients and recipes is what I do for a living.
When I don’t photograph I share my passion with other photographers in this warm and beautiful community through online tutorials, in person and online workshops, or through my best-selling book How to Photograph Food.
