Ingredients

3 cups freshly squeezed mandarin juice (from about 1 kg of mandarins)

3 cups water

cinnamon sticks

cloves

of ginger

peppercorns

star anises

honey or another sweetener
optional
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a pot and place over high heat. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to low heat. Cook for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve hot.
