About this behind-the-frame video
This photoshoot started with an old photo where I tried to recreate moonlight using flash and some candles. It’s one of those images that has always somehow followed me. So I decided to revisit it and film the entire process for you.
This isn’t a tutorial but a real behind-the-scenes peek into my creatove process. It’s an hour-long video of a real photoshoot.

Is this a course or just a behind-the-scenes video?
It’s not a structured course. It’s a real behind-the-scenes video from my studio. You’ll see the full process of creating an autumn still-life photo, from setup to the final image, with me explaining my thought process as I go. It’s like sitting next to me while I shoot.
Do I need any special gear to follow along?
Not at all. I’m using a flash and candlelight here, but you can follow along with whatever lighting setup you already have. The goal is to understand why certain choices work, so you can apply the same thinking to your own style and gear.
I’m not advanced with artificial light. Will I still benefit from this?
Definitely. You don’t need to be a lighting expert, but it is advisable you know how a flash unit operates. If you’ve been curious about mixing flash with ambient light but never knew where to start, this video will give you a practical, visual way to understand it.

This is me! A shy girl from a small but highly picturesque country called Slovenia and an official education in ecology. Nature is my biggest inspiration, and it is pure joy to take all its beauty into my creative work.
In my mid-twenties, I felt utterly lost and didn’t know what my passion was. So, after leaving a dead-end job and feeling like the biggest loser, I took the time and figure out what I wanted in life.
